Pub is The Hub are a UK-wide not-for-profit specialising helping rural communities use their local pub to provide vital services. Pub is The Hub instructed HGA to create a website that would provide a new and improved user experience and also reflect the ever growing scale of the organisation. There was a desire to improve the backend infrastructure of the website too, to make it easy for their staff to update the website via the CMS.
HGA have recently created a new website for Pub is The Hub with an intuitive content management system that is much easier to use and update. For the browser it is far more attuned to the audience and the way they are searching and digesting the information whilst also adaptable to the fast pace of new media platforms. The switch from old to new was seamless with little fuss but maximum expertise.
Pub is The Hub’s first stage of their redesign saw us make the website responsive; working faultlessly across smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. The website theme was built by us using the popular WordPress CMS to WordPress coding standards.
Over the course of the last three years working with Pub is The Hub, we have continued to introduce more personalised experiences for each user. One personalisation mechanic is fulfilled via an interactive map that shows projects near to a user or near to a location of their choice.
We delivered a much improved SEO strategy too that saw their efforts on social media drive more website traffic, increase audience reach and increase the number of leads generated. As part of our continuing effort to help them realise their ambitions, we launched their YouTube channel in 2016.
The new site has been really well received by the client and has gained fantastic feedback from their database of users.
